Overall, I am pleased with this truck cap. If you order one, be prepared to wait at least a month for it to arrive--mine took nearly two months to arrive after ordering it. I was prepared for that. Whether or not you choose stainless steel or aluminum, it will be heavy. Mine was for a full-sized GMC Sierra but in aluminum, but I needed three other people to lift it for placement. Be prepared for a boat-load of packaging material (foam, Styrofoam, plywood strips, plastic sheeting. My cap arrived with a small scratch which was easily managed with some light sanding and matte black spray paint. My biggest concern was with the fit. The GMC Sierra bed box is not exactly square; the truck cap was. The bed is a few inches wider near the truck's cab than at the tailgate; hence, I had to be creative when clamping it down from the inside. I literally had to bend the included clamps to get it to fit right. My truck had a plastic covering around the top of the bed box. However, this plastic covering was not on the edge next to the truck's cab, leaving a 1/4" gap. I had to cut two strips of the plastic from the edges of my bed box and 3m tape them to that gap, which worked well. I filled the small gaps from that with silicone. I have received many compliments about this cap. It's much more reasonable that similar caps and surely fiberglass caps. I ordered anchor plates in order to attach my Yakima rails to the rails. I am pleased with the results. Hooking up the third brake light was a pain and many, many YouTube videos, but I managed to do it. I wish there had been more direction with that part. I would recommend this cap if you are looking to save some money. Be patient and prepared to put in some work in putting it together and installed. It was well worth it. Thank you.

Very nice cap, relatively quick and easy to assemble, you will need a few friends to lift it onto the truck.
The paint was messed up at the factory and touched up with a different white that has a yellow tint to it (photos). There were a few scratches on one corner that did not happen in transport and some rub marks (photo) that happened in shipping. The joint sealant is black, for a white cap, had to go and buy a white sealant and the length of wire could have been a foot or so longer. The bolt heads through the roof rack may or may not leak depending how the sealant squashes down under the roof rails.
Overall relatively happy, nearly half the price of other caps for a work truck.

Sent wrong bed canopy. They are making it right by sending another, but this is quite the wait, and camping trip has passed that i really needed it for.

I am very impressed with the quality of this truck cap. It takes a while to get it after ordering, but it was here within a month. It was fairly easy to put together following the very helpful videos. The cap is well made and solid. the only trouble I had was putting the sealant on without making a mess, but that was just me and not having the correct glue gun to put the tube of sealant in. Once on the truck, I have had zero issues. No leaks, no problems, Doors work great and it fits good on the truck. I can even open and close the tailgate without opening the truck cap door. Very happy with the purchase and it was $1000 less than the base price for a fiberglass Leer or ARE.

I ordered and installed the sport truck cap on my 2013 Ford Raptor, specifically to be used for a trip half-way across the country to attend a competition with my two protection dogs. The cap arrived as advertised and the installation was straight forward. The cap is amazing, looks great on my truck, made our trip so much better and I receive compliments on it everywhere I go. The gull-wing design allows for a ton of ventilation and protection from the sun for my dogs, during long days of competition. The security of locking everything up provided me a lot of peace while traveling. I should have installed this cap a long time ago and would have benefitted from it for many of our previous dog sport adventures. The quality is amazing and fit and finish was excellent. I just love it!!!

Excellence aluminum rack for truck cap. A solid strong rack for carrying bicycles, canoe, etc…

At least it was cheap , you have to assemble it and seal it.
