The new bolt on rail anchors aligned and secured perfectly. The cover and rubber gaskets appear to cover the edges well. I experienced moderate to hard rain and it kept my stuff dry. I love the way it is flush on the bed. I have done a few take it on and off the truck and it was easy and simple. Great cover but a little expensive. But in this case I got what I paid for. I am so happy with my soft topper. I spent a long time comparing with another popular one for tacomas from Sdoyglou. In my opinion this is the one to get instead. That is a bit of treason as I live close to boulder CO so that is a local company. But...
I love the way this shell fits my truck and the matte black finishe and dark tinted windows really completed the appearance I wanted for a shell. I do wish the weather seal on the back hatch would make better contact with my tailgate but it really does not cause any major issues. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.
